lemlist alternative: Re:Shark vs lemlist

Teams move on from lemlist when they want more than a sequencer: someone who finds the right companies, researches them and writes the mail. Re:Shark does that in one plan, with data, domains and mailboxes included.

Why teams choose Re:Shark

lemlist gives you the sequences; lead data is a paid add-on and domains and mailboxes are bought separately. Re:Shark covers the whole job in one plan: Kai finds Dutch companies in Reef, researches each one and writes the personalised parts, and your mail goes out from our own EU servers with domains, mailboxes and warm-up included.

Why teams look for a lemlist alternative

lemlist is a strong sequencer. It sends your campaigns and lets one sequence mix email with LinkedIn, calls, SMS and WhatsApp. But a sequencer is only part of the job, and the rest stays with you.

You decide who to target. You search lemlist’s lead database or upload your own list, and finding emails and phone numbers runs on Data credits, a paid add-on. You buy domains and mailboxes separately in the app, or connect your own Google, Microsoft or SMTP accounts. And on the Multichannel plan, every person on the team is another seat.

Teams that come to us usually want the list, the research and the mailboxes taken care of, so their time goes to the conversations that follow.

What Re:Shark does differently

Re:Shark starts with the question “who should we be talking to?” and ends with a mail in the right inbox.

Say you sell software to Dutch installation companies. You tell Kai, your AI colleague, who you want to reach. Kai searches Reef for companies that match, finds the right people, and checks each company’s own website. Then he writes the personalised parts of your message and shows the source behind each one. You preview every recipient, approve the launch, and the mail goes out from warmed-up domains on our own EU servers. When a prospect replies, Kai reads it and drafts a response for you.

You decide per campaign how much Kai does. In Manual you build every step. In Copilot Kai prepares and you decide; nothing is sent without your approval. In Autopilot Kai works within your rules, and you still approve the launch.

Who does the work

The real difference between lemlist and Re:Shark is who does the work between “I have a market” and “the mail is sent”.

lemlist offers lemAgent for building campaigns, agents for intent signals and enrichment, and AI that recognises reply intent and out-of-office messages. The leads, the data credits and the mailboxes are still yours to arrange.

In Re:Shark that work is part of the plan. Enrichment fills in company and contact details from multiple sources. Reef shows what a company does, where it operates and how its team is structured, so Kai writes about the company in front of him instead of filling a merge field. The credits for finding and verifying addresses, checking fit and writing sequences are included in every plan. More on how outreach works and what an AI SDR is (in Dutch).

What you actually pay

lemlist’s pricing page (September 2026, in euros) lists the Email plan from €55 a month billed yearly (€69 monthly) with unlimited users, and Multichannel at €87 per user a month billed yearly (€109 monthly). Lead data is an add-on from €16 a month billed yearly (€20 monthly) for 2,000 credits, which lemlist says is about 400 emails found.

For an email-only team that is €55 + €16 = €71 a month billed yearly, before domains and mailboxes, and before the hours spent choosing leads and writing each personalised line. For three people on Multichannel it is 3 × €87 + €16 = €277 a month billed yearly, or 3 × €109 + €20 = €347 billed monthly, again before domains and mailboxes.

Re:Shark’s plans, excl. VAT:

  • Plug & Play: €395 a month (€345 billed quarterly, €295 billed annually), 1 user, 2,000 credits, 1 domain with up to 10 mailboxes.
  • Growth: €695 a month (€645 quarterly, €595 annually), 3 users, 7,500 credits, 2 domains with up to 20 mailboxes each.
  • Enterprise: €995 a month (€945 quarterly, €895 annually), 5 or more users, 30,000 credits, 4 domains with up to 20 mailboxes each.

About 13 credits cover a prospect from start to finish: finding and verifying the address, checking fit and writing a personalised sequence. A search that finds no address is refunded. Kai, unlimited access to the company and people database, the domains, the mailboxes, warm-up and sending are in the price, and top-up packs are available.

Side by side: one person on Plug & Play is €295 a month billed annually against €71 for lemlist Email with data, and three people on Growth are €595 against €277 on Multichannel. What the Re:Shark price covers is the work lemlist leaves with you. Kai finds the companies in Reef, researches each one and writes the personalised parts, you get unlimited access to the company and people database, and the domains and mailboxes lemlist sells separately are included, set up and warmed up for you.

Built for the Dutch market

lemlist is a French company, and its database servers are in the EU. Re:Shark is a Dutch company, The Ocean B.V., and it is built for selling to Dutch businesses. Reef is built around Dutch companies, so the profiles Kai writes from describe what a Dutch business does, where it operates and how its team is structured. Your data is stored and processed in the EU, with sending on our own EU mail servers under the AVG. More in our article on GDPR and B2B data (in Dutch).

Switching from lemlist

Start a 7-day trial, no card needed, with 750 credits and one user. Kai reads your website to build your business profile, and you set up a first audience the same day. New domains need two to three weeks of warm-up before they send at volume, and Re:Shark runs that for you. You can also connect a Gmail or Outlook mailbox, limited to 10 prospect emails per user per day.

Would you rather not run the campaigns yourself? Our team runs them for you at €70 an hour excl. VAT. Compare the plans or book a demo to talk it through. Also comparing other tools? See Re:Shark vs Apollo and Re:Shark vs Lusha.
