With regard to tax matters, Steenman Advocatuur assists in both criminal and non criminal (potential) cases. The legal assistance of the firm can consist of legal defense, legal representation and counseling. Confidential communication with clients is protected by attorney-client privilege. The firm does not provide tax advisory or tax accountancy services like tax structuring, tax planning and tax filing. Steenman Advocatuur is een advocatenkantoor dat gespecialiseerd is in het bijstaan van cliënten die een conflict met de overheid hebben of dreigen te krijgen op het gebied van belastingen (accijnzen en douanerechten daaronder begrepen) of financieel-economisch strafrecht. Op het gebied van belastingen staat Steenman Advocatuur cliënten bij in strafrechtelijke en andere kwesties, zoals bezwaar- en beroepsprocedures. De bijstand kan zowel bestaan uit bijstand tijdens juridische procedures als uit het geven van advies. Door wettelijke regels wordt de vertrouwelijke communicatie met cliënten beschermd.
