About Better Places Academy

Better Places Academy connects young professionals in tourism with sustainable tourism enterprises all over the world. Each year in September we start a challenging traineeship program; a program where you take the first step into the tourism field. You are trained in the operational duties of a tour operator and on top of that you contribute to the sustainable development of the tourism sector.

Better Tourism Academy is an initiative of Better Places and Rickshaw travel that are operating mainly in The Netherlands and Germany. Therefore the focus is mainly on Dutch and German young professionals who will assist local touroperators in client communication, product development, social media, software integration and sustainable certification.

As a young professional do can work for 6-10 months at one of our local partners at any continent in the world or you can work at our main office in The Netherlands.
