Our study programs broaden the perspective of the student. Teaching them how the Dutch society approaches (social-) issues. Not only by discussing them in dull classrooms, but by letting the student experience first-hand how the answers to these issues affect society itself. That is where true knowledge is offered. Knowledge that remains. Our team consists of passionate lecturers that guide students through real and sometimes gritty places in the Netherlands. We have a broad and dedicated network of correction officers, government officials and experience experts that opens doors that normally stay closed to the average visitor. We let the students interact with people and with society itself. We let them create their own personal story. Our programs are tailor-made and with your help and that of our vast network of ten well-known universities, 40 academic speakers and over 80 other organizations we can attend the needs of any given curriculum. Our study programs consist of: • high standard, secured accommodation • all transport in the Netherlands • academic lectures (in cooperation with different Dutch universities) • workshops / trainings • site visits, tours • discussion meetings • Dutch guides during the program • program booklets • 24/7 support during the program • pre and post trip support for students through social media • leisure activities Gaining knowledge is more than learning and requires analytical skills. We are not here to advocate the ‘Dutch way’ nor giving a Utopian view on its beliefs and perspectives. Using case studies we show how the Netherlands resolves issues and let students debate about these methods. Combining these practices with academic classroom lectures by well-known full or emeritus professors our study programs will raise the awareness of the student. Making the student capable of resolving difficult issues on an academic level.
