About a força

a força is a trauma-sensitive, body-oriented coaching and training practice founded by Eefje Gilbert. Located in The Hague and Leiden. From August 2026 also in Tomar, Portugal.

We work with people for whom talking is not enough. Highly masking neurodivergent women, professionals with PTSD, teams stuck in patterns that no one can identify. Our methodology is body-oriented, based on polyvagal theory, interoception and co-regulation. The horse is a co-coach: honest, non-judgmental, always in the here and now.

Individual coaching Trauma, burnout, PTSD and neurodivergence (autism, ADHD, giftedness). Especially for highly masking women who compensated for years until they could no longer cope. Body-oriented, not just talking.

Teams and leadership Workshops and team days on psychological safety, neuro-inclusion and embodied leadership. For organisations that understand that (digital) transformation stands or falls with the people who carry it.

Train-the-Trainer Training for certified coaches who want to work with neurodivergent and traumatised clients. Methodology based on polyvagal theory and interoception. CRKBO-registered. Maximum of 7 participants per cohort.

Reintegration coaching A sustainable return to work in a way that suits how you function. UWV programmes via VEVE Coaching.

Retreats and intensives From August 2026 in Tomar, Portugal. Small-scale, residential, surrounded by nature and horses. For individual clients and small groups.

Faith-sensitive working For those for whom faith or meaning is part of recovery. Available on request.
