Over Urban Matter

Urban Matter is a multidisciplinary studio for urban planning, architecture and design. From its home base in Amsterdam the studio is challenging conventional design processes in a rapidly evolving world. Creating new identity in the time of globalisation, dealing with continuous city growth and exploring modern interactions of public spaces are among many drivers of its enthusiastic team. Urban Matter is proud of its ability to take a fresh look at local and global issues and address them with design solutions. By developing intensive methods of user-centered analysis and production, as well as making the best use of its experience and network, Urban Matter is committed to the exploration of new architectural models and programs of living and working environments.
