Kale Jakhals Productions is a Dutch television production company founded in 2001 by presenter and producer Beau van Erven Dorens.

The company specializes in strong documentary formats in which real people try to change their lives. Formats that deal with social issues, such as homeless people, veterans with PTSD and women traumatized after sexual violence.

The programs are about human resilience and perseverance. For example, a homeless person receives €10,000 to get his life back on track or he receives a key to an apartment. Veterans who have been traumatized by their military service take an adventurous journey with treatments to get rid of their PTSD. Filming these programs sometimes takes more than a year.

Ethics are at the heart of every Kale Jakhals production.
