About Zwartz Textiles AND Laminating

Zwartz has been producing sustainable textiles in the Netherlands since 1835. For 190 years we have combined innovation with European manufacturing standards to deliver reliable, high-quality and sustainable textile solutions. Today, we focus on two main areas of expertise: technical textiles from natural fibres and laminating services.

At our factory in Oldenzaal, we produce textiles primarily from natural and recycled fibres for technical applications. Typical applications include agriculture, horticulture, packaging, geotextiles, construction and acoustics. Our focus is on using natural, biodegradable and sustainable fibres such as jute, hemp, linen and recycled materials.

In addition to textile production, we provide laminating services for our partners. We advise on laminating processes and offer contract laminating. We operate three complementary technologies in house: belt calender, hotmelt system and flatbed calender. We support roll-to-roll, roll-to-sheet and sheet-to-sheet production with a maximum working width of 2,500 mm. Options include powder scatter and foil, web and net lamination, as well as dot coating and full-cover coating.
