About YachtFocus

Internet company YachtFocus offers a software package for professional boat data management called OpenBMS (Open Boat Management System). This supports the export of boat data to any platform, making it a so-called MLS (Multiple Listing System). OpenBMS also offers a database with historical sales prices to consult. There is also an advanced CRM with features such as online contract signing, template-based mailings and statistics. For boat rental companies, it includes an integrated booking system. YachtFocus also develops websites for its clients that are integrated with OpenBMS.

OpenBMS is technically a SaaS system and is actively being used by thousands of employees of more than 300 yachtbrokers, boat dealers and boat builders. Over 150 of these have had their websites designed, built and hosted by YachtFocus.

The system greatly simplifies the workflow of professional boat sellers and its strength is that it enables data-driven decisions, as opposed to antiquated intuitive behaviour. After 20 years on the market, OpenBMS continues to be expanded and improved by in-house and remote teams of seasoned webdesigners and webdevelopers. It is widely regarded as the market-leading CMS for the boating industry in the Netherlands.

YachtFocus is also a media company. It operates its own boat advertising website YachtFocus.com with up to 420,000 visitors per month, as well as the leading Dutch boat news website BootAanBoot.nl. YachtFocus publishes 3 print media: 'YachtFocus Magazine' (10x a year, 180 pages, boats for sale), 'YachtFocus Elite' (superyachts and tenders) and 'How To Buy A Boat In Holland' (handy advice guide for foreign boat buyers in The Netherlands).

The YachtFocus team consists of 12 seasoned yachting and IT enthusiasts with offices in Amstelveen, near Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport. More information can be found on the company website YachtFocus.company.
