About World Legal Forum Foundation
The World Legal Forum Foundation (WLF) aims at enhancing the effectiveness of international law by organising public-private interaction, debates between stakeholders, and by stimulating the development and application of new products and instruments in The Hague, in the field of international law and related fields. This aim is achieved by: 1. Acting as an intermediary between knowledge institutes, judicial, political and commercial parties. WLF organizes meetings and conferences, which offer policymakers in the public and private domain, politicians, academics and practitioners the opportunity to discuss international law related issues; 2. Developing, or contributing to the development of research projects in the field of international law or related fields; 3. Contributing to initiatives by relevant parties to develop new instruments and associated services. It is the mission of WLF to contribute to a more sustainable and effective international law, focusing on the private sector. In doing so, we aim to combine the effectiveness of bottom-up international legal innovations with the legitimacy of supranational regulation.
