Wietske de Blauw is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based in Utrecht the Netherlands. Her work can best be descrided as a contemporary blend of traditional hand-drawn line art, enhanced in Photoshop or Illustrator.Wietske gets her inspiration from comics and cartoons, old movieposters and Japanese art but also the classic Dutch painters. Wietske's passion lies with handmade designs because they give an image an authentic feel. The media she uses are diverse and go from watercolour and gouache to papercutting and even clay.
