In 1931 Lars Wenaas started up a small garment factory in the cellar of his house in Måndalen, on the north-western coast of Norway. Though hard work, good salesmanship and a strong dedication, several generations of the Wenaas family built the foundation for the company that is now known as Wenaas Workwear. Which is part of Europe's largest workwear group.

Wenaas are the experts when it comes to clothing to protect industrial workers in hazardous working environments and we have set the standard for flame retardant workwear within the oil and gas industry.

Wenaas has been protecting oil and gas workers in the North sea since the begin of the industry. For decades we have been the industry's preferred supplier of flame retardant workwear, and operators and contractors continue to choose Wenaas.
