About VUS Genetics

VUS Genetics is building the gene variant-level functional data platform for targeted treatment in oncology and for rare genetic diseases. Through our proprietary geneSlice functional genomics platform — exclusively licensed from SickKids Hospital, Toronto — we generate drug response data at the individual gene variant level, giving biopharma the evidence they need to match the right patients to the right drugs.

We work in asset-focused partnerships with biotech and pharma companies across the full drug development value chain — from drug target validation to clinical trial design and label expansion. Our initial focus is DNA repair deficient cancers — including novel targeted therapies for PARPi resistant BRCA-mutated cancers — and we are now scaling across oncology indications and rare genetic diseases, where variant-level functional data is equally transformative.

Our platform generates clean, endogenous gene variant data with zero off-target noise — ideal for training and validating AI-driven clinical decision tools. We combine geneSlice cell models, partner clinical data, and AI-powered analysis to create the data infrastructure next-generation precision medicine requires.
