About Voortuin

We started out as an independent magazine in 2012 and have since released over 29 issues. We died in 2017, but we decided to roam the digital landscape forever. See our website for our complete archives.

Voortuin had a steady base of writers, graphic designers, photographers and otherwise creatively engaged people. The magazine was inspired by everyday life, existential doubt, itchy souls, pop culture, unemployment, alcohol abuse, your sister's academic achievements, bad puns on bathroom doors and of course the crap in the corner of your eye which you have to scratch out in the morning.
