De VKDP is opgericht in 1988 en heeft als doel om therapeuten op te leiden in (contemporary) Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) en daarnaast kennis over de ISTDP over te brengen.
The Dutch Society for Short-term Dynamic Therapy was founded in 1988. The society trains therapists in working with (contemporary) Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) and also seeks to transfer knowledge on various ISTDP subjects.
