Food Contact Safety It is Viaware's mission to improve the safety of food contact materials to human health. Viaware is convinced that improving the communication in the supply chain will contribute greatly to this mission. FOCOS®, Food Contact Software, enables communication in the supply chain simple and improves the quality of information by standardizing the data (data model). Legislations and regulations concerning food and plastics are extensive and complex. Organisations are not always aware how to interpret the law or what their rights and obligations are. To assist organisations with this, Viaware offers Food Contact Services, a combination of multiple food contact disciplines. Viaware’s consultants support customers with food contact plastics issues: they convert theoretical knowledge into practical solutions. Viaware organizes workshops, provides in company training courses, company screenings and strategy sessions on food contact.Focos is a tool to support food contact compliance work within the plastics supply chain. With FOCOS you can find and manage products and raw materials, create customized DoC’s and manage supporting documents.
