Sinds juli 2013 is ViaNorm onderdeel van DEKRA Certification B.V. De diensten van voormalig ViaNorm op het gebied van onafhankelijke beoordelingen en certificering in de sectoren mobiliteit, transport en logistiek zijn nu opgenomen in het dienstenpakket van DEKRA Certification B.V. Wereldwijd is DEKRA, met het hoofdkantoor in Duitsland, de grootste speler in dit segment. ViaNorm is in 2000 ontstaan door het samenvoegen van De Stichting NoRM en Viaborg BV. ViaNorm was een initiatief van BOVAG, Transport en Logistiek Nederland (TLN) en Veilig Verkeer Nederland (VVN).
