At Verlicht, we are a team of students from TU/e on a mission to improve the well-being of truck drivers through smart cabin lighting technology. What we do? We’re developing an adaptive lighting system that syncs with a driver’s schedule, enhancing alertness, focus, and rest quality. By aligning with circadian rhythms, our solution helps drivers wake up refreshed, stay sharp on the road, and wind down smoothly after long shifts.

Why it matters? Fatigue is one of the biggest challenges in long-haul trucking, affecting both safety and health. Our goal is to create a smarter, healthier workspace for drivers—because they keep the world moving, and they deserve better.
