Uzurii is a fashion label with a clear and strong signature– the ultimate combination of casual glamour and timeless elegance and the expression of the designer’s passion and acute eye for fashion. Initially fashion designer Shieglee Ferreira dos Santos developed Uzurii to make women feel elegant and attractive and, above all, feminine. The Uzurii collection consists of a series of luxurious, largely hand-made flip flops for ladies and men. Years of research and development preceded the production and the brand never ceases to strive to improve comfort, quality and durability. Uzurii designer Shieglee Ferreira dos Santos has a passion for the best materials, semi-precious stones and luxurious details. Any Uzurii article is created and made as a gift and comes in a luxurious box and/or a satin bag for the ladies’ line, and a robust wooden box, also with a satin bag, for the men’s line. Uzurii strives to make women and men feel good about themselves with exuberant, but sophisticated and stylish designs. The luxury footwear is designed and developed for ultimate comfort. Well considered production ensures great value for money, allowing the brand being available to a larger group of people Founder and fashion designer Shieglee Ferreira dos Santos was born deep in Brazil’s Amazon. It is where the soul of fashion brand Uzurii is deeply rooted. As a poor girl living in the favela’s of Rio de Janeiro, Shieglee never owned her own pair of flip flops. She found her own way to make the old and worn down flip flops look pretty and fashionable,with stones, colored threads and whatever she found in the streets. Already at a very early age Shieglee developed a passion for fashion and style. Her life in the slums never limited her imagination nor her creativity, but greatly encouraged her to be innovative. Being successful, Shieglee wants to give back to the world and help and inspire others in underprivileged situations to realize their dreams.
