About UvASociaal

UvAsocial is a student party that focuses on improving education by organizing debates, actions and submitting candidates for the student councils. UvAsocial supplies candidates at both central level for the Central Student Council (CSR) and faculty for the Faculty Student Councils (FSRs). UvAsocial is committed through student councils and through active lobbying for students and their academic development. Our aim is to organize education as much as possible according to the ideals and principles of freedom, equality, quality and involvement. Ideals such as accessibility and diversity are also high on the agenda.

UvAsocial has been in existence since 2005. A group of students decided to set up this student party in order to achieve a democratic system in which students could be elected for student councils based on their views and competences, instead of being nominated by one party without any a democratic choice.
