Urmiloop develops innovative urban mining solutions. We bring together a multidisciplinary approach to recover materials from waste materials. We specialize on research and development of novel technologies to recover critical raw materials from secondary sources. Our primary focus includes but not limited to waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). The primary deposits of these metals are decreasing. In addition, their supply is under risk, due to uneven geographical distribution of their primary ores. Their stable supply is crucially essential for the well-being of the society and the transition to a sustainable, circular economy.
