About Urban Herbology

Urban Herbology explores how we can live in relationship with nature — even in the middle of the city.

Founded by Lynn Shore, the work brings together herbalism, urban ecology, and everyday ritual to support a more attentive, grounded way of living.

This takes shape through guided walks, workshops, courses, and one-to-one sessions — spaces where people can explore questions around health, direction, creativity, and their connection with the natural world.

Lynn is the author of The Green City Witch: Weaving a Magical Life in Urban Spaces and teaches the Green City Witch course, a deeper programme for those developing their own practice.

Alongside this, Urban Herbology collaborates with cultural organisations, brands, and hospitality spaces to create bespoke experiences. These range from team sessions and seasonal workshops to immersive events that bring together plants, flavour, sustainability, and storytelling — particularly within the drinks and hospitality world.

Based in Amsterdam, with both in-person and online offerings.
