About University of Amsterdam Green Office

The Green Office is a platform that improves the students' cooperation in regard to establishing a sustainability strategy at the UvA. We do this by following the rootAbility ‘Green Office’ model, focusing on four main pillars: Campus, Community, Communications, and Research. The dedicated Green Office members work alongside staff and students to help make the UVA a greener place. We believe that sustainability should be established in all areas of university operations - starting with the reduction of print products to the range of regional products in the cafeteria and the anchoring of sustainability in research and teaching.
