UMAMI by Han is a pan-Asian, French fusion social dining restaurant based in Amsterdam, Den Haag, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Maastricht and Beijing. Specializing in sharing food aims to bring people closer together - an important starting point in Chinese culture. Created by renowned Chef Han Ji, also the owner Zhēng, the Hague. UMAMI by Han is service-oriented, social dining with incredible food and wine pairings.

Umami ingredients are often used in Asian cuisines. Think of fresh salmon, soy sauce, rice wine and mushrooms. Besides sweet, sour, salty and bitter, umami is scientifically recognized as the fifth basic flavour. Umami originates from Japanese and literally means 'delicious taste'​.
