The Latin word 'equus' means horse and EQ stands for Emotional Quotient. Pegasus is the mythical winged divine horse which represents victory. Both meanings reflect the philosophy of Publisher EQuus, which helps authors to realizing their dream and publishing a book.

EQuus offers a hybrid publishing concept. It liberates from an endless and creatively dispiriting cycle of pitch and rejection by publishers.

EQuus obtains an EAN (ISBN) number for you and provides access to Centraal Boekhuis, the national book distribution center. Writer coaching and press releases are part of the transparant deal. Digital publishing—e-books and POD (print on demand)—give you a global audience, relatively inexpensive production costs, a point-of purchase at the moment the reader discovers your books. EQuus also has an extensive collaboration with printers who are in business for over a hundred years.

Now you can create your own (digital) files and hire your own editors, designers and marketeers, or use our portfolio and network. More significantly, the author retains all publishing and copyrights. Nobody stands between you and a substantial tranche of eager readers.
