We develop the next generation of production systems for thermoplastic UD-A tapes. With our innovative spreading and impregnation technology, we deliver UD-A TAPE: thin, high-strength unidirectional tapes that make serial production faster, cleaner, and more reusable.

What we do Develop and manufacture thermoplastic UD tapes (including carbon fiber) with tailored matrix materials.

Pilot runs and co-engineering for rapid validation in AFP/ATL, pressing, filament winding, and organosheet applications.

This ensures excellent fiber alignment, high tensile strength, and consistent quality at a competitive price. The result is less waste, shorter cycle times, and straightforward end-of-life recycling.

Who we serve We support OEMs and tier suppliers in mobility, hydrogen pressure vessels, sports, machinery, and industrial sheet structures who want to produce lightweight, repeatable components with thermoplastic sustainability.

Who we are UD-Automated is a Dutch startup based in IJsselmuiden, with a team that has many years of experience in thermoplastic composites and UD processes. We are growing quickly and actively building partnerships to enable industrialization at scale.
