Since 1981 the company Instalho was repairing and installing in the Inland shipping and dredging business: Diesel engines, Propulsion, Pumps, Gensets, Electrical Drives and Installations, Construction Works etc. etc.

In 2007 the sister company Holland Shipyards was founded. The core business of the in Hardinxveld-Giessendam based Holland Shipyards is new building, renovation and maintenance of seagoing vessels and accommodations.

In 2007 also the mother company Holland Shipyards Group was founded and during the years besides Instalho BV and Holland Shipyards also Holland Accommodation Rentals, Eddy Tug BV, Holland Shipyards Sierra Leone and TV Dredging become member of this group.

In 2008 TV Dredging (first working under the name Teus Vlot Dredging) was founded as a separate company specialized in the Dredging business and for Engineering the Dredging equipment. The company started with building an inland hopperdredger and a deep plain suction dredger. Soon many projects followed and the business was extended to.

Till 2018 TV Dredging build 27 pieces Plain Suction Dredgers, a seagoing trailing suction hopper dredger, inland hopper dredgers, modification of a plain suction dredger to a cutter suction dredger and manufactured specialised dredge equipment
