Founded in Eindhoven in 1971 by dr Theo TROMP, former Vice President of Philips, the biennial TROMP Percussion Competition creates opportunities and an international stage for talented musicians. Our competition has become the world’s leading competition for solo percussion. Investing in the future of its laureates and percussion in general, TROMP also provides masterclasses and an educational program.
