Tijdschrift voor Genderstudies is a forum for the academic problematisation of gender in relation to other forms of discrimination and exclusion, such as ethnicity, sexuality, class and age.

The journal publishes articles on gender issues from a wide range of disciplines, contributing to scholarly debates on gender and intersectionality in the Netherlands and Flanders. It operates as an interdisciplinary platform at the intersection of the social sciences, cultural studies, the humanities, health and science.

Published quarterly, the journal features peer-reviewed academic articles alongside interviews, book reviews, discussions and opinion pieces, in both Dutch and English. All research articles undergo double-blind peer review by external experts.
