Welcome to the LinkedIN-page of student theatre association NEST! Acting, singing, dancing? At NEST it's all possible! NEST is the theatre association for all students and employees of the University of Twente, Saxion and ArtEZ who want to start or continue in the world of theatre. We rehearse every Tuesday and Thursday evening and focus on putting together musicals, writing and performing plays. We also give lessons in all the techniques that you may need on stage. We follow the age-old wisdom: 'it is not the result that counts, but the road to it'. Our goal is to teach our members as much as possible and to get the best out of them. Don't want to go on stage (directly)? Even then NEST has a lot to offer you! Our performances are played by the actors, but can stand or fall with the backstage crew. If you are interested in decor, make-up, costuming or theatre technique, you are also very welcome at our association! Apart from making theatre, we do a lot of other fun things, like get-togethers, activities and rehearsal weekends. So you can also join us when it comes to having a good time!
