About The Satopia Foundation

The Foundation was initiated to support educational development for children in Nepal. Partnering with Springdale School in Bhaktapur, Kathmandu Valley, we aimed to give students and their families a chance for an improved future.

It cost only $350 (USD) annually to provide a child with a year of education at Springdale School. This institution, led by Biju Shrestha, is committed to the personal and academic growth of each student. The Foundation offered a sponsorship opportunity for donors to directly support a child's education, ensuring that 100% of the contributions went straight to the school.

We established a strong connection with Springdale School, ensuring sponsors were consistently updated about the students' progress and immersed in the rich cultural tapestry of Nepal with several visits to the school. This initiative was more than a philanthropic endeavor, it was a seed that started the ethos and vision of Satopia Travel. The principles and values nurtured in this partnership became the foundation of Satopia Travel's philosophy.

The Foundation now serves as a network of organisations supported by Satopia Travel.

Through Satopia and our diverse impact projects, we continue to champion educational empowerment and cultural engagement, leveraging our collective resources to create a ripple effect of positive change and sustainable development.
