The Oppositist is founded by Jeannot Bruggeling, the former commercial director and owner of Bever Innovations. Starting as a mechanical engineer draughtsman/builder and asked to join in the international sales team at Océ Netherlands (now Canon Europe), Jeannot has gained vast experience in his area of account management and marketing. After an intermediate time in yacht building, Jeannot was drawn back to commerce. This time, at Konica Minolta, where he developed in-depth experience with large international accounts, company transformation, personal development, communication, sales and innovation. Jeannot gained experience in how to work in dynamic teams and actively participated and cooperated in diverse technological transitions. Transition such as the one from analogue to digital printing and copying and from stand-alone software to Software as a Service (SaaS).

With the experience Jeannot has gained these past years at Bever Innovations, he has, among other things, transformed Bever Innovations into an internationally recognised and operating company. A company through which they were the first to run with innovation. Jeannot has been able to give input and direction in how innovative (LED) techniques are applied within the petroleum retail market. Not just to retain customers, but also to simplify control and maintenance as well as creating new market values.

At the moment, the petroleum retail market prepares for an enormous transition, whereby fossil fuels are making room for an alternative solution. Further smaller transitions also take place, whereby innovative technology plays a central role. To remain distinctive in the petroleum retail industry, it is important to continue further in technology development. To look ahead and continue to innovate.
