About THE FOREST SCHOOL

Welcome to The Forest School! This is where kids experience the wonders of nature. We are on a mission to bring kids closer to nature. We aim to achieve our mission by offering different types of programs and activities, such as: a forest-based afterschool program, forest-based holiday camps and Classroom in the Forest program! Summer or winter, rain or shine - kids at The Forest School are free to explore, build, climb and grow. Together with our Forest Guides and nature experts they will go on the biggest little adventures to discover the great outdoors. We believe in the principles of discovery learning, free play, and getting your hands dirty. We believe that the forest offers the perfect environment for curious adventures as well as a haven to calm a child's nervous system.

Our program is for kids 4-12 years old. Our afterschool program runs Monday - Thursday afternoons and we offer Forest Camps during school holidays. We are now open in Amsterdam (Het Amsterdamse Bos) but will be expanding to Zandvoort/Haarlem and Hilversum in 2023/2024!
