These collections inspire us. In fact, it’s what we’re made of ourselves: check out our courtyard in The Hague, irreverently combining monumental façades from various neighbourhoods in different cities. Or our delightfully schizophrenic art, food & furniture collection - combining self-made with high-brow, exotic with indigenous, serene with flat out loud. Observed separately, you wonder what the leitmotif is. Put together, they tell a fascinating, personal story. Irregular, as life goes.

And you know what? It’s something we all do. Even if we don’t frame it, pin it, or publish it, we all build personal collections. They symbolize the moments and ideas that made us stop, think and maybe even change direction. They’re too good not to share.
