About The Amsterdammer
The Amsterdammer was founded in March 2018 by UvA communication science student Isabel Bonnet. Starting with a staff of about 25 people, we are proud to be diverse. Our staff comes from 16 countries: China, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Germany, India, Italy, Lithuania, Mexico, Netherlands, Romania, Serbia, Singapore, South Korea, Venezuela, and Vietnam.
We are an independent student-run newspaper that aims to cover stories of the city of Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam. We publish on average two articles and one column per day on our website from Monday to Friday.
