Rapid development in science, culture and behavior, coupled with the tumultuous tide of our daily lives, means that reflection is becoming ever sparser, even though it is all the more necessary.

TEDxStrijp fills that void. At this independently-hosted conference in the BrainPort region that is the city of Eindhoven, a wide array of speakers stemming from a variety of fields, come together to help find that space again. Through the power of the vocal word, infused with passion and comprehension, these talks hope to reveal that which is buried under the progression: the ethical qualms, the ill-forgotten lessons, the fruitless regressions.
