About Team Gullit

Founded in 2016 by Schalk Stalman and Ruud Gullit, Team Gullit changed the landscape of esports as the world’s first independent FIFA academy. Originally established and built within Triple, the organization was created to bridge the gap between legendary football insights and the burgeoning world of competitive gaming.

In May 2025, Team Gullit reached a historic milestone when it was officially acquired by Team Liquid, one of the most successful and storied organizations in esports history.

Today, we operate as a vital part of the Team Liquid ecosystem. We combine our founders' competitive philosophy with Team Liquid’s world-class infrastructure. Our mission remains unchanged: scouting, developing, and managing the elite talent of tomorrow, now backed by the global reach and expertise of the world’s premier esports brand.

From our origins in Alkmaar to our role as a cornerstone of Team Liquid’s global strategy, we continue to redefine the future of digital competition.
