Tai Chi Chuan (or taijiquan) is more than a fighting skill, more than a training for body and mind. You could say that relaxation or natural movement is the deepest root. But none of that explains what it really is. Maybe 'poetry in movement'​ comes closer. However there is also a philosophical element that should not be overlooked and it is rational or logical at the same time. So the best you can do is experience it.
