For many manufacturers, reducing Scope 3 emissions depends on replacing virgin fossil-based raw materials with circular alternatives. Pyrolysis oil produced from non-mechanically recyclable plastic waste can be used as a circular feedstock in steam cracker facilities, replacing fossil-derived naphtha in the production of new plastics and supporting a more sustainable petrochemical value chain.
