High in the hills of Samaná, Dominican Republic, cacao has been grown the same way for generations: by hand, by families, by people who understand the land as something to work with, not against. This is where Surya begins.

We don't make commodity chocolate. We source ceremonial-grade cacao: pure, minimally processed, and left whole in its natural fat, the way it has been prepared and used in ceremony for centuries. No fillers. No additives. No shortcuts. Just cacao, exactly as it was meant to be.

We work directly with local villagers in Samaná who have cultivated this land for generations, building relationships rooted in respect rather than transaction. Every block of cacao carries that intention forward, from the hands that grew it, to the hands that will hold the cup.

Surya is more than a wellness brand, it's a community built around intentional rituals, meaningful connection, and a slower way of living. Every generation has had its signature drink: Boomers had alcohol, Gen X embraced coffee, and Millennials claimed matcha. Now, Gen Z is redefining the ritual once again, seeking experiences over excess and mindful moments over nightlife. Ceremonial cacao is at the center of that shift, making Surya the ritual for a new generation.
