Now – Food Systems & Business Innovation Food touches everyone, every day. Today, at FiberFoods Group, I help build strategic value chains around climate resilient “forgotten crops.” With PrimeJack®, a jackfruit fiber, we enable the meat industry to reduce the meat intake of consumers, lower CO₂ emissions while improving nutrition and supporting East African smallholders. With the Oysternut, we are pioneering a new ingredient for both food and cosmetics. Here, my design thinking background meets business innovation proving that sustainability and inclusion can scale through business.

Then – Designing for Social Change Before entering food systems, I spent 15 years as co-director of Butterfly Works, applying design thinking and co-creation with artisans, entrepreneurs, teachers, and activists in more than 30 countries. We partnered with NGOs, governments, and communities to co-create solutions in entrepreneurship, cultural heritage, education and health. Working with NGOs showed me the deep value of inclusion and community-led innovation. At the same time, I saw how market-driven models create urgency. This balance between purpose and market pull reshaped my path. I began applying design thinking and co-creation in businesses, where solutions not only solve problems but also transform industries.

Beginnings – Design & Lifestyle I began my career in the lifestyle and design sector, helping international companies create appealing designs for the European market. Working in New York, Istanbul, and Mumbai, I connected artisanal skills with market demands, translating local craft traditions into global design opportunities. These experiences sparked my lifelong belief that creativity is not only aesthetic, but also a powerful driver of inclusion, opportunity, and systemic change.
