Stoomgroep West Zuiderpark is one of the biggest 7 1/4”, 5” and 3 1/2” gauge model engineering societies in The Netherlands, based out of the Zuiderpark in Den Haag. The society has the biggest and longest 7 1/4” gauge tracks, all with interlocking and signalling systems that operate (almost) the same as the real signals, combining old signal systems with new technologies to ensure safe operations without collisions.

The society operates steam, diesel, petrol and electric operated locomotives and carries with its rolling stock roughly more than 20.000 passengers a year around in its opening season, around the roughly 5km of track, which exists of at least more that 5 different mainline routes.
