Stichting Wooninitiatief Drachten is opgericht door de ouders van acht mensen met een beperking. Zij hebben een woonvorm voor hun kinderen gerealiseerd: 't Skûtsje. Zorg wordt betaald uit het PGB, levensonderhoud en huur wordt door de bewoners zelf opgebracht. De Stichting heeft zelf het personeel van 't Skûtsje in dienst.
