About Stichting Vrienden van Kloostertuin Opveld
Stichting Vrienden van Kloostertuin Opveld bouwt voort op het werk van vrijwilligers uit de buurten Heer, Eijldergaard en Vroendaal (Z.O.-Maastricht), die het parkbos willen behouden als plek voor ontmoeting, verbinding en educatie.
We organiseren daartoe diverse activiteiten in de kloostertuin, zoals DOE-dagen (waarop buurtbewoners snoeien, frezen, planten, zaaien en opruimen), picknicks, paasvuren en educatieve (speur)tochten.
Het stichtingsbestuur bestaat uit: Jan van Opstal, Winfried Temme, Yves Maris (secretaris), Amaury Stroux, Berend Brouwer (penningmeester) en Marieke Smits (voorzitter).
