(english below) Het Vogelhospitaal verleent hulp aan wilde vogels in nood. Jaarlijks vangen we zo’n 4000 zieke, gewonde en verweesde vogels op. Dat doen we 7 dagen per week, 365 dagen per jaar met een team van 3 betaalde medewerkers en ruim 60 vrijwilligers. Het Vogelhospitaal biedt professionele medische zorg, de juiste voeding, rust en veilig onderdak voor de dieren, zodat ze kunnen herstellen en zo snel mogelijk weer terug kunnen keren naar de vrije natuur. Het Vogelhospitaal is de enige in de regio Kennemerland die deze zorg biedt voor vogels en daartoe ook gemachtigd is door de provincie. Daarnaast geeft het Vogelhospitaal voorlichting over wilde flora en fauna in de regio. Het Vogelhospitaal, onderdeel van de Stichting Vogelrampenfonds, is een CBF Erkend Goed Doel en heeft een ANBI-status.

Stichting Vogelrampenfonds (Vogelhospitaal Haarlem / Bird Hospital Haarlem) provides assistance to wild birds in need. Every year we take in around 4,000 sick, injured and orphaned birds. We do this 7 days a week, 365 days a year with a team of 3 paid employees and more than 60 volunteers. The Bird Hospital provides professional medical care, proper nutrition, rest and safe shelter for the animals, so that they can recover and return to the wild as quickly as possible. The Bird Hospital is the only one in the Kennemerland region that offers this care for birds and is also authorized to do so by the province. The Bird Hospital also provides information about wild flora and fauna in the region. The Bird Hospital, part of Stichting Vogelrampenfonds, is a CBF recognized charity and has the ANBI status.
