The Foundation PassiefHuis Holland is erected in 1998 by eight companies in the building sector. Five producers of building components and materials, an installer company, an consultant building physics and technologie and an architect. All the participants where fully aware of the necessity of the development of passivehouse components and services as a guarantee for the succesfull implementation of the passive house concept in building and renovation sector in the Netherlands. Stimmulating the local market by organizing the building of serveral innovative pilot passive house projects, practicing new products, give support for testing innovative new passive house products and support research on PH-products and services. The distribution in the Netherlands of all the relevant information about passive house development in the Netherlands and abrought. The organisation of congresses. seminars, courses, excursions and lectures. The production and distribution of printed and digital information about passive house technology in The Netherlands.
