About Stichting Het Hamerkwartier
Stichting Het Hamerkwartier verbindt alle partijen die betrokken zijn bij de ontwikkeling van het industriële Hamerkwartiergebied (40 hectare) in Amsterdam Noord. Dat zijn de gemeente Amsterdam, projectontwikkelaars, woningcorporaties , ondernemers en bewoners (van omliggende wijken). Doel is om van het nieuwe gebied een woon-werkwijk te maken waar veel aandacht is voor (creatieve) arbeid en waar bewoners betrokken zijn bij hun wijk. De transformatie van dit industriële gebied start in 2022 en duurt waarschijnlijk 20 jaar.
