NL - Stichting DARE is het persoonlijk initiatief van Klaas en Els Eeftingh. De stichting is opgericht in 2007. De naam van de Stichting DARE heeft diverse betekenissen, die erg goed aansluiten bij de doelstelling van de stichting. In het Latijn betekent DARE ‘geven’ en in het Engels betekent DARE ‘durven’. Dat zijn twee kenmerken waar onze stichting voor staat. ‘Geven’ betekent voor ons het warme gevoel van delen, het willen helpen en het voorzien in toekomstmogelijkheden. ‘Durven’ staat voor ondernemerschap, het heft in eigen hand nemen, bouwen aan je eigen toekomst.

ENG - The DARE Foundation is a personal initiative of Klaas and Els Eeftingh. The foundation was established in 2007. The name of the DARE Foundation has a number of meanings that link up very well with the goal of the foundation. In addition to its meaning in English, DARE in Latin mean ‘to give’. These are two features that are typical of our foundation. To us, ‘to give’ means the warm feeling of sharing, of wanting to help and creating possibilities for the future. ‘To dare’ stands for entrepreneurship, taking matters into your own hands, building on your future.
