About Stichting EduFair

Imagine yourself prior to birth. Imagine that you are unaware of your gender, race, the socioeconomic status of your family, or even the geographical position of where you will grow up. Now imagine that you have the power to re-create our planet, how would you design the world? How would you divide vital resources and provide access to health care and education?

We envision that citizens with the same talents and willingness to use them should have the same educational and economic opportunities regardless of whether they were born rich or poor. In this mission we strive towards the fair equality of opportunity principle of political philosopher John Rawls, such that social class and family background shouldn’t be an obstacle in being educated.

We founded EduFair with the ambition to help students that have the potential and motivation to continue education, but are not able to do this without our support. EduFair connects these students to a coach who will help them with their education.
