About Stichting Adventures of the Valparaíso
We are a Dutch non-profit (stichting) dedicated to advancing The New Pirate Economy, a movement exploring regenerative ways of existing economically, socially, politically, and ecologically.
We operate as a ship that sails as a non-formal learning community for systemic transition. Through our work, we develop and share regenerative, decolonial, and post-growth approaches that help individuals and organizations navigate the shift toward a just and sustainable future, always keeping creativity, art, and inspiring storytelling at the core.
Our activities include: • The New Pirate Economy E-Learning Platform: offering courses on regenerative economics, intentional communities, post-growth, decoloniality, systems change, and more • Workshops & Learning Journeys: immersive, in-person educational programs across Europe • Research & Knowledge Sharing: bridging community practice with socio-ecological theory • Creativity, Art, and Storytelling: anchoring transition in a fun, artistic, creative way
We’re building a global movement that equips people with the tools, skills, and imagination needed to redesign the systems we live in. If you’re exploring regenerative futures or looking to collaborate on transformative education, we’d love to connect.
